White is bright and can be associated with sunlight when blended with red, yellow, or orange. It represents innocence and purity, but can also be correlated with worthlessness and loss. Social responses to white can be quite different. In the U.S., it is used for marriages to symbolize purity, while in many Eastern societies, it signifies death.
