The existence of water is essential for life on Earth. It is clear that water is an incredibly important resource. 



Here are some interesting and amazing facts about Water:


• Water is made up of  two elements, hydrogen and oxygen. Its chemical formula is H2O.

• Water is the only substance on earth that is found naturally in three forms: liquid, solid and gas.

• There is the same amount of water on Earth as there was when the Earth was formed. 

• Pure water has no smell and no taste, it also has a pH level around 7.

• Water from a sea or ocean is known as seawater. On average, every kilogram of seawater contains around 35 grams of dissolved salt.

• It takes more than twice the amount of water to produce coffee than it does tea.

• Nearly 97% of the world’s water is salty or otherwise undrinkable.

• To create one pint of beer it takes 20 gallons of water
