In this article, I am sharing some pictures that might hurt your feelings, but the reality is worse than this.

You need to know...

People will use things in unintended ways and thus diminish their original value. It's not a dating site, but just do an online search for "dating on LinkedIn". There are loads of articles, mostly directed at men, about how to find dates on LinkedIn, etc.

Do people use LinkedIn to flirt?

For this, I will stay silent. This screenshot will say everything.

Is LinkedIn promoting this?

They should not. But they're. I don't if it's intentional or not. But the reality is that LinkedIn is promoting itself as a good dating platform. Even they have a whole article describing the benefits of using LinkedIn as a dating platform. Let me share with you some of the points from that article. You can read the go through that article here.

Why Everyone is using LinkedIn as a Dating Site?

  1. (Relatively) Honest Profiles
  2. Easy Vetting
  3. Great dating pool
  4. No fake accounts
  5. Can use them as a connection/reference if it doesn’t work out
  6. You know they’re serious people capable of commitment (or can’t commit to a goldfish)
  7. They could be the source of your success

The End Notes

No endnotes for this article, as it's just a support for the voices of #womenatwork. We must respect them. Let make it a safer platform for them to share their ideas and diversify their professional network. Well, that's all in here. I hope you liked it. Please share this article as a voice against all this nonsense.

Here are my words, "Stay safe" for women and "stay gentle" for men. Have a good one.

Cheers!
